William Finn (B. Com) - Director
William is a graduate of the University of New South Wales, holding a Bachelor of Commerce. Previously he attended The Queensland Academy for Creative Industries and holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma. William is currently putting his management skills to use at the IT firm MOQdigital, where William heads up their service desk and manages field engineers based throughout Australia and New Zealand. Aside from IT, William has also worked in the private education industry and the festival industry, holding positions at Sydney Film Festival, Brisbane Festival and Splendour in the Grass. William is excited by the ever expanding number of opportunities afforded to young adults and wants to ensure that others know the incredible pathways available.
Dr. DOUGLAS JAMES (BSc MD MpH) - DIRECTOR
After graduating with an OP1, Douglas went on to study Science (Biomedical) at the University of Queensland. With a 99th percentile GAMSAT score, he completed a postgraduate Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Masters of Public Health (MPH). He currently works as a doctor for Queensland Health, and is an Associate Lecturer through the University of Queensland. Doug is an experienced educator in both secondary and tertiary settings. He is actively involved in mentoring junior doctors and university students. Doug has presented at interstate and international conferences, and is passionate about equipping a young people with direction and vision for their future.
Sean Mcburnie (B.com/LLB) - Advisor
Sean holds a dual Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws at the University of Queensland. Since graduating Sean has worked in roles including as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan in Sydney. Throughout his studies, he has completed work experience across the public and private sectors, which has equipped him with a strong understanding of the available career options within the professional services industry. Furthermore, Sean has extensive educational experience, having presented workshops internationally to gifted and talented students, in addition to developing mentoring experience as a secondary education tutor. Sean understands how difficult finding the right career path can be, and is eager to assist a new generation of students in helping them explore all of their available options.
